Advanced users can customize server selection, protocols, and NetShield levels, but the defaults work great for everyone.

We have a strict no-logs policy - meaning we do NOT collect, monitor, or store:

⚠️ Important: If the VPN connection drops unexpectedly, your traffic may temporarily revert to your regular internet connection until reconnected. Always check the connection status indicator in the app. A kill switch feature to prevent this is coming soon.

2. Try a different server: The server might be temporarily down
3. Restart the app: Force close and reopen Kavach VPN
4. Restart your device: Sometimes a simple reboot fixes connection issues
5. Update the app: Check Google Play for app updates
6. Check permissions: Ensure VPN permission is granted (Settings → VPN)

Some speed reduction is normal due to encryption overhead, but there are ways to optimize:

Solutions:

• Choose a closer server: Server distance greatly affects speed
• Try a different location: Switch servers if performance is slow
• Test your base speed: Disconnect VPN and test - VPN can't exceed your ISP speed
• Close bandwidth-heavy apps: Background downloads/uploads slow everything down
• Restart your device: Clear any network caching issues

Expected speeds: You should get 80-95% of your normal speed with Kavach VPN using WireGuard®.

Some websites block VPN traffic. Here's what to do:

If it's a streaming service:

• Try a different server location
• Clear your browser cache/cookies
• Wait a few hours (blocks are sometimes temporary)

If it's your bank or local service:

• Use Split Tunneling feature (coming soon) to exclude that app
• Temporarily disconnect VPN for that transaction

If it's NetShield related:

• Lower NetShield level (Tier 3 → Tier 2 or Tier 1)
• NetShield might be blocking legitimate domains

Frequent disconnections can be frustrating. Common causes and fixes:

Network switching:

• Moving between Wi-Fi and mobile data causes disconnections
• Enable Auto-Reconnect in Settings

Weak signal:

• Poor Wi-Fi or mobile signal leads to VPN drops
• Move closer to router or ensure good cellular signal

Battery optimization:

• Android may kill VPN to save battery
• Disable battery optimization for Kavach VPN in Settings

ISP throttling:

• Some ISPs actively interfere with VPN traffic
• Try switching protocols (OpenVPN) when available

Quick fixes for app stability:

1. Update the app: Check Google Play for latest version
2. Clear app cache: Settings → Apps → Kavach VPN → Clear Cache
3. Reinstall: Uninstall and reinstall from Play Store (your account is saved)
4. Free up storage: App crashes often happen when device storage is full
5. Update Android: Make sure your OS is up to date

1. Open the Kavach VPN app
2. On the login screen, tap Forgot Password?
3. Enter your registered email address

5. Click the link and create a new password

• Check your spam/junk folder
• Verify you entered the correct email
• Wait a few minutes (emails can be delayed)
• Try requesting again

Yes! To change your account email:

1. Go to Settings → Account in the app
2. Tap Email Address
3. Enter your new email
4. Verify the new email (check inbox for confirmation link)

Important: Use this new email for future logins and support requests.

We're sorry to see you go! To delete your account:

1. Cancel your subscription first (see "How do I cancel my subscription?")
2. Go to Settings → Account
3. Scroll to bottom and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion (this cannot be undone)

What happens when you delete:

• All your account data is permanently deleted
• You lose access to remaining subscription time (no refund)
• Your email becomes available for new registration
